The staff at Texas Elite Volleyball welcomes all athletes and wishes everyone success.
Founded in 1990 by two of Houston’s most respected coaches, Becky Baugh Palermo, Retired Head Volleyball Coach at Stratford High School and Debbie Jaehne, Retired Head Volleyball Coach at Cypress Creek High School, Texas Elite has evolved into one of the most respected Junior Volleyball programs in the United States. The coaching staff at Texas Elite comprises a balanced mixture of professional coaches, collegiate student athletes and coaches from the private business sector. Our philosophy and mission at Texas Elite Volleyball is to provide top quality coaching and training for the student athletes at the highest level.
As our name indicates, Texas Elite has fielded teams comprised of some of the most talented players from Houston and the surrounding areas. Texas Elite Volleyball has completed many successful seasons sending teams to the National Junior Olympic Championships and the AAU National Championships in Orlando. Continuing this success, players who have participated in our program include multiple All-Greater Houston selections, Mizuno High School All-American selections, Junior Olympic All-American selections, All-Tournament selections in the Junior Olympics Invitational Tournament, and future coaches.
We are very proud of our accomplishments assisting participants in the Texas Elite Volleyball program and graduating seniors with furthering their careers at the Division 1 and Division 2 collegiate levels. Many of the newest clubs in Houston have our former highly trained coaches as their directors, which is a testament of the tutelage they received from Becky and Debbie.
We are now providing training for young players in grades 4-8 to prepare them for further play in high school and beyond.
The addition of our Petite Elite program has been an incredible training tool for young volleyball enthusiasts, directed by Beth Gammill (head coach at Memorial High School).
